This workshop invites couples to explore how individual mental health and past experiences shape expectations, communication, and connection in marriage. The focus is proactive: building shared understanding and simple habits that support a healthy, resilient partnership over time.

Guided by a licensed psychotherapist (to be announced), couples will:

  • Reflect on how their own histories and family patterns influence how they handle stress and conflict
  • Learn how stress, anxiety, and depression can show up in relationships (irritability, withdrawal, overcontrol, conflict)
  • Practice gentle, structured conversations about what each partner needs to feel safe and supported
  • Create one small, realistic “emotional well‑being ritual” they can take into their life together

This session is educational and supportive rather than therapy, and is suitable for engaged or seriously dating couples from diverse backgrounds. Participants are welcome to share only what feels comfortable and will leave with shared language, greater insight, and at least one concrete practice to strengthen their relationship.
