This gentle discussion space is for people who have lived through mental health challenges, caregiving, or ongoing stress, and want a clearer, kinder way to understand their own story. Together, we will explore how stress and trauma show up in daily life and relationships, and begin to notice the strengths and survival skills we already carry.
Guided by a licensed psychotherapist (to be announced), participants will:
- Learn a simple, non‑clinical framework for stress, trauma, and the body’s survival responses
- Reflect on key experiences that have shaped their mental health journey and caregiving roles
- Notice patterns in how they respond to stress and where resilience has shown up
- Practice 1–2 grounding techniques they can use between sessions to steady themselves
This group is educational and supportive, not crisis care or formal therapy. Participants are invited to share only at their own comfort level and will leave with language for their experiences, a bit more self‑compassion, and practical tools to bring into everyday life.
