Feeling distant from someone you love—whether you live under the same roof or across the world—can be deeply painful and confusing. This gentle, discussion‑based online session explores alienation in families and how emotional or physical separation can affect mental health and relationships.

Guided by a licensed psychotherapist (to be announced), we will:

  • Introduce what “alienation” can look like in everyday family life
  • Touch on how distance and long-term separation can impact parents, youth, and caregivers
  • Normalize these experiences so participants feel less alone
  • Share simple ideas for coping and seeking support

This group is open to parents, youth and young adults, caregivers, professionals, and community members who want to better understand family disconnection in a respectful, non‑judgmental space. Participants are welcome to share as much or as little as they feel comfortable.
