Kids And Parents Well-Being (KAPWB) is a Federally registered Canadian Not-for-profit organization with its main office in Ottawa, Ontario.

It is a grassroots organization that have embarked on two pilot programs supporting caregivers (family, friends or professional) that help people with Dementia and people with Depression and at Suicidal risk.

KAPWB & it’s Strategic Roadmap

Dedicated to the well-being and support of parents and children across various life stages. KAPWB endeavors to raise societal awareness about the critical importance of healthy families and mental health care. The organization strives to mend and establish healthy connections between parents and children who have been separated for extended periods, addressing the complexities of relationships at different life stages. The start is two new programs as described but the strategic roadmap is to be able to establish a sustainable organization delivering its long-term vision.

The Strategic roadmap would include offerings of peer and professional support, individual guidance, and counseling services, covering areas like depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, addiction, and grief. Tailored programs catering towards specific groups, including veterans, women, refugees, single parents, and orphaned children. KAPWB also contributes to individual development through counseling and training in health, education, career building, entrepreneurship, and economic sustenance. Through its holistic approach, KAPWB strives to create a supportive environment, ensuring the well-being and balance of parents and children at various life stages.

Mission Statement

Provide services for the well-being and support of parents and children in the areas of mental health care, individual and relationships’ development. Provide awareness and education to the society in the importance of healthy families and mental health care. Help reconnect and help establish healthy relationships between parents and children separated for long periods of time and at various stages of life.

Vision Statement

KAPWB strives to mend and establish healthy connections between parents and children who have been separated for extended periods, addressing the complexities of relationships at different life stages including adult children – senior parents etc.,

The organization aims to facilitate the healthy rebuilding of broken relationships through healing workshops, providing a platform for individuals to share their stories, and conducting studies on topics such as relationships, individual development, and the financial and social costs of toxic relationships. KAPWB further extends its support through peer and professional assistance, individual guidance, and counseling services encompassing various mental health issues and demographic groups. Additionally, KAPWB  aims to contributes to individual development  and to create a holistic support system.
