DESCRIPTION:Virtual Community Discussion\nThis virtual discussion offers ca
 regivers and community members a compassionate introduction to understandi
 ng and supporting children who feel disconnected or alienated from a paren
 t. Family conflict\, separation\, or long periods of distance can leave ch
 ildren feeling confused\, anxious\, or caught between loyalties. This sess
 ion focuses on how adults can respond in ways that center the child’s em
 otional safety and wellbeing.\nGuided by a mental health professional (to 
 be announced)\, this interactive workshop will:\n\n\n 	\nExplore how child
 ren of different ages experience family conflict and separation\n\n 	\nHel
 p participants recognize common emotional and behavioral responses childre
 n may show\n\n 	\nIntroduce child-centered\, trauma-informed ways to respo
 nd when children express anger\, fear\, or rejection toward a parent\n\n 	
 \nShare simple language and strategies adults can use to support children 
 without placing them in the middle\n\n 	\nOffer practical tools for caregi
 vers to maintain stability\, emotional safety\, and healthy communication\
 n\n\nThis session is designed for parents\, grandparents\, caregivers\, ed
 ucators\, and helpers who want to better understand the emotional world of
  children navigating difficult family dynamics.\nThe discussion will be he
 ld in a respectful\, non-judgmental space. Participants are welcome to sha
 re at their comfort level and will leave with practical insight\, supporti
 ve language\, and information about KAPWB programs and resources for famil
 ies and caregivers.
