DESCRIPTION:In-Person Community Discussion at Heartwood House\nMoving to a 
 new country can bring hope and opportunity\, but it can also involve loss\
 , uncertainty\, and emotional stress. This community discussion offers a w
 elcoming space for immigrants\, refugees\, and community members to explor
 e the mental health aspects of adapting to life in a new country.\nGuided 
 by a mental health professional or experienced facilitator (to be announce
 d)\, this interactive session will:\n\n\n 	Explore common emotional experi
 ences in the immigration journey\, including grief\, stress\, and identity
  changes\n 	Introduce simple mental health concepts to help distinguish be
 tween normal adjustment stress and when additional support may be helpful\
 n 	Provide space for participants to reflect on their own migration experi
 ences and sources of resilience\n 	Share practical coping strategies such 
 as grounding techniques\, breathing exercises\, and building supportive ne
 tworks\n 	Highlight local community resources and supports available for n
 ewcomers and families\n\nThis session is designed for immigrants\, refugee
 s\, caregivers\, and community members interested in supporting newcomer w
 ell-being.\nThe discussion will take place in a respectful\, inclusive spa
 ce at Heartwood House\, where participants are welcome to share at their c
 omfort level. Attendees will leave with practical coping tools\, shared la
 nguage for mental health conversations\, and information about KAPWB progr
