DESCRIPTION:Virtual Community Discussion\nCaring for someone living with de
 pression or dementia can be both meaningful and overwhelming. This virtual
  discussion offers caregivers a supportive space to better understand thes
 e conditions while also recognizing the emotional toll that caregiving can
  take.\nGuided by a mental health professional or experienced facilitator 
 (to be announced)\, this interactive session will:\n\n\n 	\nIntroduce key 
 signs of depression and dementia in clear\, accessible language\n\n 	\nExp
 lore how stigma and misunderstanding can affect individuals living with th
 ese conditions and the families supporting them\n\n 	\nDiscuss the emotion
 al pressures caregivers often experience\, including guilt\, isolation\, a
 nd unrealistic expectations\n\n 	\nShare practical coping strategies such 
 as setting boundaries\, taking restorative breaks\, and seeking peer suppo
 rt\n\n 	\nHighlight community resources and supports available for caregiv
 ers\n\n\nThis session is designed for family caregivers\, partners\, and c
 ommunity members supporting someone living with depression\, dementia\, or
  related challenges.\nThe discussion will take place in a respectful and s
 upportive learning environment. Participants may engage at their comfort l
 evel and will leave with practical insight\, coping strategies\, and infor
 mation about KAPWB caregiver supports and future programs.
